1)The rated coverage shall be the portion indicated by the oblique lines.
2)Where topographical structures dictate or operational requirements permit, the distance from Point "C" to Point "A" shall be 33.3 kilometers, and that from Point "C" to Point "B" shall be 18.5 kilometers.
3)Point "C" shall be the centre of the antenna system of the localizer.
4)Point "P1" is a point above the vertical of"A", and Point "P2" is a point above the vertical of "B" and both of these points shall be either 600 meters above the horizontal plane of the threshold, or 300 meters above the horizontal plane of the highest point within the intermediate and final approach areas, whichever is the higher.
5)Point "E" shall be the approach end of the runway threshold.
(ｧ)The horizontal field strength of the radio frequency carrier emitted by the localizer shall meet the following requirements, in addition to meeting requirements specified under the preceding item (vi):
